About IFFA

Infinite Focus Fashion Agency is an experienced fashion agency created by veterans of the Second Life® fashion industry.  Many of our members began life with the groundbreaking Ewing Fashion Agency but broke away to form Focus almost a year ago. We are proud of our roots and are indebted to the wonderful Una Ewing, who gave the kiss of life to so many promising models in the early years of Second Life® fashion. Una began the dream, we hope to carry it on. In October 2009 Focus merged with the modeling academy Infinite, to form Infinite Focus.

Although we do represent models it is not our main aim and thus we are more than just a modeling agency. Infinite Focus is primarily a fashion promotions firm made specifically to bring the work of Second Life® designers to broader audiences.

The agency is based in Sheer, a private and lag free sim; it’s main facilities consist of the headquarters building and modeling school, the practice runway and photographic studio. The agency also has three other runways available, of which two are located sky-high, where the shows are held, and can easily be transformed for the needs of clients.

IFFA’s strong team is made up by a number of multi-faceted Second Life® professionals, representing countries and languages from all over the world, with real life business experience in fashion, marketing, PR and promotional services. They have vast working experience of the in-world fashion industry and are first and foremost professionals, working hard to achieve the best results possible in any given assignment. Our team members have gained extensive knowledge of how the fashion system works and are prepared to share it with clients and teach them the secrets of the runway, all at a very reasonable cost. Unlike other agencies, Infinite Focus associates are not interested in profit, but solely in making things happen for the people they work with. The name of the agency derives from that fact, meaning that the spotlight is on you.

Those who have chosen modeling as a career and are serious about making a name for themselves in Second Life® will find in IFFA the useful tools to remain within the fashion circuit. The agency runs a vigorous 10 day model training course, which is designed for turning anyone into a credible model by preparing them for any challenges they may face within the industry. After graduation, the students are introduced to the fashion world through a debutant show and are given a valid certificate. The models are promoted this way and are also featured in the agency blog and event invitation, as well as in the show brochures, which are created and distributed at each show to IFFA’ s extensive guest list. Promising students who demonstrate remarkable skills may be asked to join the agency. Other services include: styling, beauty salon, concierge when taking part in a contest, professional photography and portfolio.

There are also numerous opportunities for designers and businesses when working with Infinite Focus and at a cost they can afford. Usually, it is hard for designers to create and at the same time market their brand. That’s where IFFA comes in, with its public relations and promotions experience and a network of contacts to call upon to achieve the growth and promotional goals set, while safe guarding their creative integrity and expression. The agency has a tried and tested methodology for show planning, which has proven both practical and popular and includes the following steps: concept creation, brochure designing and distribution, guest listing, booking, training and styling professional models, choreographing and coordinating, venue decoration, hosting the event, coordinating, photograpy and publication, before- and after- show blog entries.

Infinite Focus Fashion Agency Review Policy

IFFA is always happy to accept reviews but please present them in the following manner;

Send a folder titled “FFA Review Request – [DD-MM-YY]” with the following contents:

* A subfolder named [Item for Review - (name of item)], in this folder please place the items you require reviewing. Please ensure that the proper permissions are given so the items can be worn.

* A notecard which contains your name, brand name, background information on your brand, pricing information and a landmark to your store.

We will then respond and inform you of our decision to blog it. Please note that we cannot review every item sent to us.

We understand how hard you work to design and promote your wonderful creations and we will make every effort to blog notable items if time permits. We may not however, blog them in their entirety but may mix and match them with other items to show their versatility.

Blog entries will be clearly marked REVIEW as part of the title. Photos will be unaltered except for minor changes to lighting and size.

In addition the post will either be labelled COPY REVIEW or PRODUCT REVIEW. PRODUCT REVIEWS will have more detail, will be comprehensive and review for example the shape and skin to accessories, ie the whole set of clothing, skin etc.. therefore they are not designer specific but the personal choices of the blog reviewer. The COPY REVIEW is focused more on individual items given for review.
