Body Basics: New Faces for New Clothes

Dawn Memorial of Dawn’s Design is our MUST SEE skin maker of the week. For those who don’t know Dawn, she is a co-creator and co-owner for DCNY, one of my personal favorite designers in Second Life^®. I met up with her a few weeks back and she let me in on a secret…. don’t tell anyone ok? They are redoing the store and *gasp* that means new skins!!!! Strike up the band because you know where there is a new skin this skin collector has to be there.

Dawn’s newest contribution to my fixation, Lorelei. It features beautiful tones from a pale to a beautiful bronze. She has created a lovely natural face, good for casual everyday wear and also beautiful makeup shades (smoky and red shown). You can really see the quality in the details, the body is carefully shaded and very natural looking. Guys, you will enjoy your lady in this skin.

She also has some adorable new clothes My favorite is the fanny dress. It is short but not too short and flirty. You can wear it with or without the puffy sleeves and every prim on it is modifyable. You can see the love she puts into her work, the texturing is magnificent and it flows with a variety of shapes.

Dawn and Dave of DCNY will be reopening soon so make sure you keep a look out for their new finds. I am excited to see how the sim turns out and the rest of the treasures they have been working on.
