Men’s Focus

It’s funny how fashion inspiration hits you.  Today’s mash-up is based on a recent real-life encounter I had with a bike commuter.

I almost gave him the classic right hook, where I cut off the bicyclist to my right while making a right turn.  Thankfully he was the alert one, as he dodged my car without crashing.  I sheepishly held my hand up in the air to signal my apologies, but understandably that wasn’t good enough for him.  He proceeded to confront me with language that would make Andrew Dice Clay blush.

Offended by his aggressiveness, I firmly told him I was slightly ahead of him in traffic, I had signaled my intentions well in advance, and perhaps foolishly I stated that an incident may have been unavoidable and thanks to his considerable bicycling skills, nothing messy occurred.  Unfortunately he wasn’t in a patronizing mood as he crudely told me to go somewhere.

Thankfully after that he remounted his bike and we parted ways agreeing to disagree.  What this guy really is like I may never know, he could be a likable bloke, but I can definitely say this: he was well-dressed for the commute that day.  Good choice of clothes, you jerk.
