Shopwatch – Designing Nicky Ree

Shopwatch teleports across the grid to report on the bad, the good and the best in shopping experiences. When shopping I enjoy a store that has something more to offer than just things scattered around the aisles. It is nice to find a place that draws you into the atmosphere and makes you want to see more… and above all makes you want to buy more!

Shopwatch gives you the real story on what shops to try, where to buy and what shops you should invite your friends over to… It is always nice to find a store that makes you want to visit frequently not only for clothes, hair and accessories, but also if it offers you a warm, comfortable environment that draws you in.

General Information: Designing Nicky Ree is owned by Nicky ree. The shop specializes in formal, casual and role play wear for men and women.

Atmosphere:

Très chic is the first impression you get as you land at Nicky Ree’s main shop. The décor is very classy and warm made mostly by the lovely vendors. The general environment is sophisticated and tasteful so be sure to take a look at Nicky Ree designs if you have a special occasion or a ball to attend. It is quite easy to move around and you don’t need to worry about getting lost because there are clear and visible signs leading you to the different categories with tidily arranged, beautifully designed vendors.

Customer Service:

There are no in-store employees therefore if you need any kind of information you should send a notecard to the owner or you can IM Mui Mukerji, Nicky Ree’s appointed NR Fashion Stylist. There are no live models in-store but you have pose stands available. There are free items near the entrance on the wall to your right so you can check the quality of the clothes. Permissions are Copy / No Transfer / Modify. If you wish to buy a gift that option is available through store cards or you can also use XStreet or Onrez. You can view this information in a poster on the wall the minute you arrive at Nicky Ree’s flag shop. Nicky Ree has a regularly updated blog – http://designingnickyree.blogspot.com – and an Update Group with the latest releases, news, gifts and discounts exclusive for members.

Assortment:

Nicky Ree is quite versatile as many of the outfits can be worn in differents ways with matching accessories available for purchase. The quality is excellent and there are many colour choices in most ensembles.

Packaging:

Your purchase is delivered in a folder with the goods, a notecard and a landmark. The items are descriptively named.

Nicky Ree is an experienced graphic designer and illustrator. She has worked in the publication and web design field for many years and started to design clothes in SecondLife™ in late May 2006. Nowadays, she mainly designs illustrated fashion for classy ladies and gentlemen in SecondLife™.

The landing point is right in the entrance of a modern one storey building. The décor is finished in wood textures and red carpet, a refined combination.

There is a lounge area with comfortable sofas for you to relax in and enjoy the elegant atmosphere. There is assortment of fashion magazines on offer to better inspire your style.

Nicky Ree’s collection ranges from casual to formal, each one with a special touch of elegance, style and glamour. There is a variety of accessories to bring the most out of your outfit. Walking through the shop is quite fun and easy and each turn is exciting and surprising.

Nicky Ree proposes diversified clothing designs for men and women and offers space suits, superhero costumes, fairy costumes, Celtic gowns, couture and dresses, evening gowns, party dresses, casual wear, jeans, swimwear, men’s wear, wetsuits and shoes. Styles and colours are named consistently so you can easily accessorize. Prices are reasonable considering the quality of the outfits. The styles, colours and textures are beautiful and original.

Folders include all your items, a notecard and a landmark. There are pose stands available in the store inviting you to try your new clothes. Another bonus at Designing Nicky Ree is the gifts wall where you can find a few outfits for free.

Nicky Ree has a full stock to pick from and offers many choices. The designs are well thought out and executed.
