Bliss Couture proudly presents its Lovers Hunt beginning February 8th!  This will be the first Bliss Couture couples hunt that will feature items for males as well as female hunters.  During this Valentine month what better way to spend time with your loved one than by participating in a couples hunt? Amutey Decuir, Owner of Bliss Couture, will not only have this fabulous hunt from February 8th through the 21st, she will  also have  a gorgeous Valentine gift for members only. The members only February Valentine’s dress is a  dazzling short dress and definitely a gift that your significant other would love to see you in. In order to receive this very generous group gift you must join the in-world Bliss Couture group, so what are you waiting for, go ahead and join now!

February may be the shortest month but it will also be a very busy month at the Bliss Couture sim. February 13th at 11AM SLT Bliss Couture will have a Valentine’s Themed Fashion Show, “Fallin’ Into Bliss,” that will feature Bliss Couture’s most romantic gowns.  This will also be the first fashion show in which Miss Bliss 2010 winner Melanie Sautereau will be representing as the Face of the Bliss Couture brand. Jewelry featured during the fashion show will all be from Virtual Impressions, created by Chrissy Ambrose.  Amutey Decuir has a keen sense of style and she keeps giving us a glimpse of what is inside that creative mind of hers with each new fashion piece she brings our way.  Each design is uniquely crafted with immaculate detailing, luxurious fabrics, and beautiful bold colors that are sleek and stylish enough to make every woman feel sexy.  The bold use of color leaves a footprint in your mind of the outfit you have just seen and really makes the detailed design work stand out.  So go ahead, embrace your inner Goddess and reward her with a beautiful Bliss gown.  Be gorgeous, gracious, feel like a Goddess…in Bliss

*We ask that those of you who will attend the fashion show try to arrive thirty minutes early in order to be sure to secure a seat. Please help our models to have as much of a lag free show as possible by turning off your ao’s and being seated upon your arrival.

Haute Designer Spotlight

Welcome to Haute Designer Spotlight!  This column was created to bring you news and insight into the hot, trendy and edgy in Second Life® fashion.  Each week we will highlight a different designer.  These designers are for the hardcore fashion conscious and those that love to follow the current trends in the fashion world.  We would love to hear from you.  So, if you have a designer you think really kicks it in the couture, trendy, edgy genre, please post a comment.  Hang on to your seats and take a ride into the Haute Designer Spotlight!

Whenever I think of style, there is one name that immediately comes to mind…LeeZu!  Not only is the name synonymous with good taste.  In many ways she sets fashion trends and standards.  Since 2007 LeeZu has been pushing the industry to greater heights of design style.  For those of you who have not seen her designs, it is truly a shame.  Get with it!  LeeZu Baxter is the sole designer.  However, she has a wonderful staff of helpful people, including Suzi Phlox, Co Owner, Barbara Nichols, CEO, Vixie Rayna, Manager, and several in store models to meet customers needs.  All of whom truly show concern and care for LeeZu customers.  This more than anything, sets the store apart from all the rest.  I hope to inspire everyone to stop by and become LeeZu fans.

For those of you that have shopped at LeeZu, I don’t have to tell you how versatile clothing items are.  The shop is separated into several departments, making shopping all the easier.  In bargains and ready to wear there are many closet staples, from tights, gloves, shirts, pants and ready to wear dresses.  The amazing thing is, you can buy two unrelated items yet they can be worn in mix and match.  So, buying just a few items can increase your wardrobe a hundredfold.  The colors!!!  You will not find more unique color combinations in Second Life®.  This unique use of color is a big part of why LeeZu clothing is so flexible.  Personally, I could wear only my LeeZu wardrobe and not wear the same outfit twice in a year.  Ok, well, maybe I am exaggerating a tad.

Another factor making LeeZu clothing so unique and desirable is the use of sculpted prims.  She has a knack for pushing the edge of prim use in clothing design and making them really work.  For example, the new Aimee dress has sculpted leg prims instead of the standard flexi ones.  This enables the dress to move fluidly with the avatar when walking and dancing.  No more showing those glitch pants while you walk through a hurricane with your dress in a wake behind you, ladies!!  Most of LeeZu clothing includes prims at just the perfect point to really make the clothing worn look as realistic as possible.  It will truly change the way you look at clothing in SL.

LeeZu herself would love to see everyone one of you happy wearing clothing that makes you feel gorgeous, fashionable, yet comfortable.  This is one designer no one should miss.  LeeZu designs will, hopefully, be setting a standard far in front of the industry standards.  Ladies and gentlemen, my advice is to take a look.  I promise you will not be disappointed.

Today I created this look using this beautiful dress by Milk Motion, they was part of Designers United III. I chose as complementary items for this look these socks from Phoenix Rising, Maitreya Neyya shoes and this beautiful silver bag from Glow Studio. I think it’s looks elegant and is a warm look for winter :)

Red Carpet event an explosion of style.

Put together B!Fashion, Orage Creations, Lady Thera and 24 Shoo Shoes and what do you get?? One mighty huge fashionganza ( extravaganza mixed with oodles of fashion) . Infinite Focus Fashion Agency’s Red Carpet event on December 12 was a sight to behold with 9 lovely models from Infinite Focus fashion agency and three fabulous Dancers. The event coordinator AngeXX Quandry produced a fantastic Red Carpet show whetting the appetites of all who attended.

The scene was a sumptuous red carpeted runway held on the Limburg estate so graciously supplied by 2408 Alekseev. With a set designed by Charriol Ansar and AngeXX Quandry the guests were treated to a sneak preview of the great things to come with the newly formed Infinite Focus back in October. Limburg estates were full to overflowing with many guest including the likes of RicoRacer Flux, Sabine Blackburn, Ariella Denimore and friends and family.

As the models strolled and sashayed down the runway guests lined either side. The positions perfect for looking at the creations that the designers were showing. The show itself took three parts. The opening for the show was B!Fashion designed by Barbarella Cioc with AddisonLynn Blaisdale sporting Cristallo in white giving the show a winter feel. She was followed by Marienna Cortes in Damanera a black flowing number. Jeab Krunger graced the runway in Ghiaccio Nero followed by QueenBrat Bracken in Farfalle with sculpted butterflies this gown with its gold and white perfect for a winters ball.

Barbarella thought of every aspect when designing these clothes including shoes accessories and in many cases hair with attachments. ChloeRose Constantine looked divine in the Morgana and Keeley Cooperstone wore the very chic Olivia. Blackliquid Tokyoska wore the Orient Express in Red with an Asian flavour and was followed on to the runway by Beauty Lourbridge in the very stylish Pallotta. Felicia Lynagh and Marienna Cortes appeared with a lovely double walk in Pepita and Sapphirina both outfits showing the stylish range of B!Fashion with short layered skirts, the Sapphirina with embroidered gold on a blue sapphire colour bodice and bustle style bow. Pepita a very ethnic look with a bubble skirt and long lace underskirt including gold armbands and collar. Jeab wore the Smerelda in a rich emerald green with gold trim QueenBrat appeared again this time in Soloro a spun gold look. ChloeRose Constantine stole the show in the very colourful Zingara with layered skirts of pink lolly satin and black lace. It also included a lace bodice with pink ribbon ties.

The guests were treated to a great intermission act by Dancers Heyah Oh and Mesh Carter and suitably supported by the DJ Jeb Blackburn. Womaniser by Brittney was the choice of music and has everyone moving along. Even some of the models preparing back stage started to enjoy the music provided and were seen shaking a hip or two as they prepared for the next part of the show. Jeb played some lovely tunes to emphasise the elegance that the models possessed as they returned.

This time showing the creations of Orage! Creations by Elettra Gausman. This wonderful designer has created a range of outfits based around RL fashion as warn by celebrities. Felicia sported the Mylus as worn in RL by Miley Cyrus. Beauty wore the Miss Chanel as worn in RL by Kerry Washington. The following models also wore Orage! Creations from the designers other ranges. Marienna wore Sweet Orage, AddisonLynn wore Gold River, Keeley wore Oboe Lastly ChloeRose graced the runway in Legeresse.

The Second Intermission the guests were treated to some great questions from our lovely host AngeXX that related to films. The winners were rewarded with some great Sun Eskimo prizes from their range. Lots of prizes were given to those lucky to be in attendance. Even the models enjoyed answering the questions to each other as they prepared for the third and final walk of the show.

The third section to the Red Carpet event models wore Lady Thera by designer Thera Taurog. This designer has based her dresses on famous works of art so rather then do them any disservice by describing how wonderful and intricate they are let me tell you the dresses worn by the models and encourage you to see them. Each is very unique in their own way some with long flowing style some with short more delicate sheer layers. Some with gloves and scarves others with hats. Keeley wore Black Iris based on the work of Georgia O’Keefe. Blackliquid modeled Dazzling Adele a design based on the work by Gustav Klimt. Beauty wore Deep Garden based on the art from Monet. Felicia glided down the runway in DolceLucce based on work from William Turner. Marienna looked elegant in Emile Galle by Art Noveau Cristal. AddisonLyn wore Encounter with Magritte and Jeab was simply stunning in il Giardino by Van Gogh. QueenBrat simply stunning in Fur Judith based on the work of Gustav Klimt and ChloeRose wore the divine outfit Constantine based on work by Matisse. Blackliquid looked elegant in Roses based on the painting by Renoir and Marienna was a picture on the runway in Night & Day a William Turner inspired piece. AddisonLynn and Jeab both wore pieces based on works by Van Gogh with outfits called Blossom and Starry Night. QueenBrat closed the show in a colourful cocktail dress Viva La Viva based on the work of Frida Khalo.

Many of the outfits were styled to perfection from the models not only with some of their pieces from inventory but also with the donation of some wonderful shoes by the sim host 2408 Alekseev. These shoes from her store are simply divine they are intricate and suited many of the styles of clothes. They shoes enabled the models to colour match and to wear a design so light and delicate it looked as if they were floating on the runway.

For the finale all the models made their way down the red carpet lead by the dancers Heyah Oh, Mesh Carter and Anita Craven for a final last look and then burst simultaneously into a rendition of Michael Jackson’s Thriller with dance moves. Definitely a crowd pleaser by all accounts due to the reaction of the audience. What a wonderful jam packed event and certainly a sign of great things to come from the team.

Just a quick post for wishing all of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I started my outfit with these beautiful leggings from PLASTIK, I loved the red tone and it has tiny white sparkle dots. The MAITREYA chichi shoes have a colour choice for the strings and match with a dark cherry tone. Highlight of extravagancy is the hair dress from BOUDOIR’s Noir dress – I tinted the shoulder prim red and changed attachment position.  The dress is from ACID & MALA and a red lipstick make up from LELUTKA’s last skin Estelle.
